Agathe received an engineering degree in Food Technology from France in 2017. She became interested in food aid while working on the development of a nutritional bar for pregnant women in sub-Saharan Africa as part of a school project. She had previously completed a M.S. in Nutrition Science at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, where she was involved in research on the link between postmenopausal breast cancer and obesity.
