Lauren holds an MSc. in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, and a dual BSc. in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Nutritional Sciences from the University of Arizona. Her work has spanned nutrition and behavior change interventional research with ovarian cancer survivors at the University of Arizona Cancer Center, to clinical research and study coordination on the topic of effective iron supplementation with the Nutritional Immunology Lab at the Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging (HNRCA) at Tufts University. She has a particular interest in global nutrition and food assistance programs, as well as understanding better treatments for acute and severe malnutrition in women and children worldwide.
